I would like to plug this into a switched outlet, so it can be turned on and off with a light switch on the wall. Unfortunately the lamp does not power on when it is plugged into a switched outlet that gets switched on. It always requires a manual tap of the power button or a command via app/bluetooth.
If possible to address in a firmware update, please make it so.
This would also enable people to plug a lamp into a smart outlet, so they can configure it to work with Apple HomeKit.
