V10 power level switch

Hi all,

I could do with some help.

I have just repaired a broken trigger switch on my V10, I carefully took the cleaner apart, repaired the switch then carefully put it back together again. But after I had re-assembled it, the machine/trigger repair worked great but for the power setting. no matter where the switch was MAX, MID or LOW, it was functioning on MAX all the time and I am unsure why?

I took it apart again, to look if the switch was not locating inside or something, but it looks like a sensor rather than a physical switch!?

Can anyone help and tell me why the power is stuck on MAX?...and more importantly, how I fix it?...is it some sort of reset?

Your help would be gratefully received.

No I didn’t. We ended up getting rid of it and buying a cordless Henry…..much better.

Absolutely no help from Dyson again, wasted half an hour in chat and all they did was trying to sell me another body. I bought one last year and now I have two bodies one which not working at all and another one works on full power. Great service in warranty period, but after warranty they don’t care at all.
