How does Dyson WashG1™ wet cleaner transform the way you clean hard floors?

I have had dyson cleaners for over 30 years in all parts of the world and have found them good - until I made the mistake of buying the G1 mop 3 months ago. Living in Spain with a large tiled floor area, it seemed perfect but it arrived with a sixty page Guarentee/service book in about 25 languages, some of which I do not even recognise (and I worked at Heathrow for 35years) BUT NO INSTRUCTIONS. Not even a single sheet document.This was vital, as I spent hours trying to get it to work, only to find that the battery/charger was faulty and the whole thing had to go back to the suppliers. Obviously no inspection had been made when it was delivered from Malaysia. Don’t tell me to go on line for instructions: they are sketchy in the extreme, comparable to flat-pack assembly sketches.

I appreciate the economics of farming out work to third world countries but it seems to me that without proper inspections you have ruined a perfectly good reputation that you have had for years. I could not recommend anyone to buy this item - particularly if they have pets or hair longer than shoulder length. To get back to the original topic: there is no customer service - just a way to employ IT staff.
