Hello - I am having an issue with my Dyson DC41 Multi Floor Upright Vacuum cleaner where the smaller brush roller (of the two) has stopped turning while using the vacuum. I took the Brushbar motor housing apart and discovered that where the black spindle attaches to the motor housing is broken.

Part I thought I needed:

Initially I thought I needed a new spindle, however when I received that part I discovered that there appears to be a piece that is broken off in the motor housing that the spindle for the brushbar attaches to. I can provide a picture of this.

I appreciate any feedback you can provide me.

Thanks,
Kevin
