I am using just plan water with my new Dyson WashG1 but its foaming so much that the machine cannot pump the water into the dirty container and foam is going everywhere. Anyone have a solution to this problem?

I had a similar issue when I made the mistake of cleaning something off the floor using too much spray and wipe before running the G1 over it. Would the most likely cause be a detergent residue still on the floor from whatever you used to mop previously? If you self clean once or twice then hand wash the rollers should get it working again - but you might need to manually mop the floor with water only before you use the machine?
