Hi everyone im new here and I’ve had my Dyson V7 for roughly 5 months and the last couple times I’ve used it I’ve noticed the main body above the grip is getting very hot and it’s blowing hot air into the back filter.

So I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue aswel I know I need to contact Dyson support which will be my next step

Hi @arty. Thanks for your post. If the machine has a blockage or being ran on MAX/BOOST mode, it is common to occur. Please confirm if the filter has already been washed? If so, I do recommend reaching out to our online support team for further support.

Hi Summer thanks for your reply I have had it on max boost and no the filleted hasn’t been washed also I can’t seem to find a blockage but I will look again.

Even on max boost should the air coming out from the rear filter be so hot and aswel as the body I only ask as I don’t remember it always being like that
