Continuous monitoring allows your machine to collect environmental information. Once selected, this feature is active at all times.

Once your machine is connected, navigate to the home-screen, selecting the ‘Settings’ icon in the top right, then select ‘Your machine’s settings’.

From here, navigate through to the ‘Air’ section and scroll to ‘Continuous monitoring’.

Enable or disable this feature by clicking the on-screen slider.

When active, and when the machine is in a standby state, some users may hear a low humming sound. This is caused by the onboard sensors. Turning this feature off in the App will stop this sound from occurring.

If you’ve not yet connected your machine to the Dyson App, please refer to our Connecting your Purifiers, Humidifiers and Heaters to the App article.
