Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Equaliser settings can be controlled in the Dyson App.

To get started with using either the sound or audio settings, the headphones will first need to be paired and connected to the Dyson App. Read our ‘Pairing your headphones’ article for more information.

Once paired, with the Dyson App open, navigated to the home-screen and select the interactive 'Sound control' button within the ‘Headphones’ section.

On the following screen, select from either of the following options:

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)

  1. Isolation – Maximum noise cancellation. Both the surrounding and background noise is reduced. This is the default Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for your headset.
  2. Transparency – Amplifying the surrounding noise.
  3. Off – This turns the ANC function off.

Please note:

  • With the visor lowered or when on a call, the music and airflow are paused.
  • Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) can be controlled manually by ‘Tapping’ either earcup. By ‘Tapping’, the headphones cycle through the Isolation, Transparency and Off options.

Equaliser settings

On the ‘Headphones’ section, use the ‘Toggle’ option at the top of the screen. This navigates through to the ‘Equaliser’ controls.

On the following screen, select from either of the following options.

  1. Enhanced – A precisely tuned frequency response for the best listing experience for all music, podcasts, and video.
  2. Bass Boost -Low frequencies emphasised for a bass-heavy listening experience for modern style pop, electronic music and hip-hop.
  3. Neutral – A neutral and transparent frequency response with a little less bass.
