It’s been OVER TWO MONTHS now, and I’m still waiting on my refund from Dyson. I’ve been dealing with this absurd situation where they keep telling me “we’ll contact you in 24-48 hours,” and guess what? They NEVER do. Every time I reach out, I’m given more empty promises and more case references: 44833480, 44852837, 45001111, 44352449, and STILL no resolution!
To make matters worse, Dyson once told me my refund had been processed. When I reached out to my bank, they confirmed that no such thing had taken place. After I asked Dyson for confirmation, they claimed it was just a “miscommunication” and the refund hadn’t actually been initiated. How do you mess that up?!
I was also told to DM them for faster assistance, which I did. What happened next? I was told to wait another 24-48 hours, just like the hundreds of other times before. This cycle has been going on and on, and nothing ever changes. It’s been one lie after another.
I even went as far as filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and their response? They told me I needed to contact Dyson UK’s customer service directly. So now, after TWO MONTHS of frustration, I'm still in the process of doing that.
What’s even worse is that I couldn’t even file a chargeback because Dyson kept dragging their feet and telling me they were “dealing with it.” Well, the chargeback window expired, and now I’m stuck—no refund, no way to recover my money. Dyson, do you even care about your customers?! You’ve left me with no option but to share my frustration. This is a disgraceful way to treat people who trusted your brand.
Enough is enough. Someone at Dyson better address this before I escalate it further. 😡
