Hi,
I purchased my dyson in india less than a year ago, I have conflicting answers to the question if it may work in Europe or not?
My device is 230v | 50 hz, Europe’s 220v | 50hz. Going by the replies from dyson community, looks like my device falls in the same range as needed for Europe, yet I also keep coming across threads that mention it may not work anywhere except the country you bought it in. Could you please clarify?

Thanks for replying but that’s a very generic response to a specific question.
As you would notice that I’m mentioning a device that operates on 230 Voltage and 50hz frequency, which happens to be exactly same for Europe as well. Then, how and why would you talk about difference in voltage and current in my case? Why shouldn’t it be recommended when that’s the exact requirement at both the places?

Well, there is no voltage difference between India and Europe! Why stick to generic responses when it doesn’t even apply to my case. I’d happy to understand if there’s a logical reason or a limitation you could brief me about.
