Dyson Corrale straighteners faulty battery after 2 years no charge time | Dyson Community

I am so annoyed to read so many complaints about the Dyson Corrale straightener losing charge capabilities after 2 years.

Dyson seem to ignore all the messages or off pathetic advice.

I thought it was a quality product, why are they so scared to help people.

Contact with support is impossible.

Hi @Effie,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

It’s not possible for us to confirm an exact lifespan for any component, including the battery, as this will depend on how each individual machine is used, maintained and stored. But the Dyson warranty period is 2 years, and we’d expect the battery to last for at least that long.

If you own a Dyson Corrale™️ straightener and need some help with it, you’ll be able to reach your local Dyson Customer Care team by visiting Dyson.com and clicking Support.

If a replacement is needed within or outside your 2-year Dyson warranty, they’ll be happy to discuss your options with you.

We’ll look forward to speaking with you!

Hello

thank you for your response what would you charge for a replacement warranty ?

im disappointed as my Dyson was barely used the two years I owned it for the amount of money paid for this item it should last much longer I feel.

Hi @Effie,

Thanks for your reply!

We don’t sell extended warranties, but if you’d like to discuss your options for replacement of your machine outside of the original manufacturer’s warranty period, you’re welcome to contact our Customer Care team.

Just visit Dyson.com and click Support to reach the right team for your region.

The only thing they will offer you is 20% off a new one. My wife’s battery wouldn’t not charge anymore in hers and the service center said that they can’t repair the Corrales because there are not parts and they can’t take them apart without destroying them.
