What if there were a dok for {name your Dyson Product here} that would hold any attachment, tool, or accessory an owner might purchase for their {Dyson Product} for neat, organized, and convenient storage solution?
I have just bought a Dyson V15 Detect. I opened the box, registered by machine, installed the Android app on my phone, then proceeded to watch every instruction video, new products video, accessories video, cleaning suggestions video, as well as downloaded the Owner’s Manual and printed it, then read it, before starting to unpack the shipping box and assemble everything. Inspired by the versatility of the tools, I promptly ordered several additional tools and am awaiting their arrival. However, once they dopro arrive, I have no particular place to store them. I’ve searched the web site as well as this community for a solution and found a reference to a bag with pockets which is “out of stock” and possibly “out of date”.
I envision something akin to a wall mount with attachment points for tools that (a) provide enough space for the larger tools, maximize jigsawing tools to conserve space, (b) labelled for each tool to make fitting the tools together does not need to be divined by magic or mind-reading, and © includes space for one extra battery (with its own power source) and one extra filter. I can see such a dok being too big for some owners, so perhaps it can be several smaller doks that link together so that if all one needs is dog/cat tools, but later buys car tools, one can purchase those doks only and they would be able to be linked into a single doc for that particular owner.
What do owners who use this community forum think of this idea?
What parts of my idea might not be practical and what solutions to improve practicality do others see?
What concepts to tool storage might I have overlooked?
How would you rate this idea on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being “banish the author of this topic” and 10 being “this is so awesome that it will be practical for a hundred years, even with the advancement of technology in the future”?
If such a product, or family of products, were available (in my case for the Dyson V15 Detect, but in your case for whichever Dyson machine you own), would you but it/them?
Extra Tools Dok (Wireless Vacuums, Dyson V15 Detect) (but carry the idea to all accessory categories??)
