I sent my broken vacuum to Dyson on March 3, 2025. They received it on March 6. Since then, no one is bothering to provide an update on the status of the exchange unit they are supposed to send me. Today is March 27. I have placed several calls but none of the representatives are able to provide an update. All they are telling me is that don’t worry, we understand your frustration. But you’ll get your exchange unit by March 31 or earlier. I highly doubt, if Dyson can manage and send me the replacement vacuum within two business days.
Also, as a process, one month wait time (that is if they manage to send the replacement) is a very long time and not acceptable. I have been without my vacuum for almost a month. So, I had to spend additional money out of my own pocket to buy another vacuum while waiting for Dyson to wake up and realize that they owe me a vacuum. Dyson’s support process is horrible and one of the worse in the U.S.
I am not sure how they survive.
Please someone, anyone, I just need an update and want my exchange vacuum cleaner as soon as possible. Dyson is holding my vacuum hostage. This is probably the last time I am investing my hard earned money on a Dyson product. After sales service and support is the other half of the equation when it comes to a product. Unfortunately, Dyson is missing this part, which is a shame.
