Dyson V11 Absolute Extra High Torque Head problem - suction OK but brush not rotating.

Bought this product about 3.5 years ago and never had any problems. But suddenly the brush in the High Torque vacuum head doesn’t rotate anymore. We’ve taken it apart and cleaned everything we can as per the manual. There’s definitely sunction getting to the head as we can successfully use there other heads we have (e.g. soft roller head). When we take the roller off we can rotate the spindle by hand easily so it’s not jammed. A bit frustrated, any ideas. TIA

Hi @DavidCATS,

Welcome to the Dyson Community, and thanks for letting us know about this.

If your Dyson V11™ vacuum’s brush bar isn’t rotating after the motorised cleaner head has been fully cleaned and checked for any obstructions, it’s possible that it may need replacement. We would recommend running through some simple diagnostic checks with our experts before ordering, just to make sure the fault does lie with the cleaner head itself and not the wand or main body.

When you have your Dyson V11™ vacuum fully charged and easily to hand, please visit Dyson.com and click Support for your regional Dyson Customer Care team’s contact information.

We'll look forward to speaking with you!
