First off, I shouldn’t have to send back the whole vacuum just because Dyson can’t figure out how to keep replacement motorbars in stock. Take one out of the box send it to me or improve your manufacturing process so it doesn’t happen anymore? I guess a lot has changed in 12 years.
But what’s even more ridiculous is that if I want the motorbar replaced (a wheel fell of after just 4 months of use), I have to send everything back… even the permanently affixed docking station. This piece of plastic could not have cost Dyson more than 50 cents to manufacture, and yet, I’m expected to remove it from the wall and won’t be able to easily reinstall it. Just to have a wheel replaced on the faulty motorbar.
I assumed, incorrectly, that Dyson made quality products. That was my mistake. I’m stupid for believing Dyson’s marketing and influencers who actually pay other people to vacuum their homes.
For real though, why do I have to send back the docking station too? Is that 50 cents really that important to Dyson?
