Animal 3 wand handle vs DC07

I had a Dyson all floors DC07 and when I wanted to use the wand to vacuum hard floors it would flip around and there would be a handle to use. My new Dyson animal 3 does not seem to do this and when I try to vacuum hard floors have to practically hold on to hose. It doesn’t seem right. Is there a handle part or attachment that I don’t have? Or an extension to the wand so I’m not bending over so far to vacuum hard floors? Thanks.

Hello @Pegann

Thank you for this question! Ball Animal 3 as well as all other uprights, to my knowledge, do not have the handle like the DC07 you are referring to. All tools/attachments can be attached to either the end of the wand, or the end of the hose, but you would need to hold on to the wand/hose to use that tool.
