Hi, We have just received a Dyson V8 vacuum as a wedding gift, it works great on our hardwood floors, however we have a relatively thin (1/8’’) rug that the motorhead attachment gets completely stuck on. From research it seems that the vacuum is sucking too hard and that maybe not enough airflow is getting in to the vacuum so it stops completely. I have tried calling customer support, but is there an easy fix for this? unfortunately both suction modes do not work. If there is a different attachment we could buy to make it work that would work as well.
