After vacuuming with our new Dyson I was amazed how renewed our carpeting became and how great our sofa looked after a once-over with the Turbine Tool attachment. From that experience, here’s my idea for a 30 second television commercial advertisement.
[video - Man just finishing vacuuming a beautiful room, subject pauses looks at the camera and says...]
“We were gonna get new carpeting, but we got a new Dyson instead.”
[video - Woman using Dyson Turbine tool attachment on an attractive couch, looks at the camera and says...]
“We were gonna get a new sofa but we got a new Dyson instead.”
[video - young boy or girl (maybe 5-7 years old) playing and being affectionate indoors with a happy, hairy but unremarkable mongrel dog. The scene is overdubbed with narrator explaining the superior engineering and design of the Dyson vacuum and attachments while the video cuts to clips (either captured or computer generated) supporting the claims of the narration. The video cuts back to the child and dog as the narrator points how the superior performance of the Dyson makes it worth paying a little more especially for pet owners. As the narration ends, the child holding and loving the dog, looks at the camera and says.]
“Mom said we were gonna have to get a new dog, but we got a new Dyson instead.”
[video - distant or wide angle bokeh video of man woman, child and dog in the clean room as the narrator makes closing remarks and cites the Dyson product tagline]
