Straighteners battery flashing empty when fully charged

Hi

I have had my straighteners for about 3 years, never had any trouble with them. Until now…

I use them 2 to 3 times a week. When I take them off the charge they show a full battery. I use them for lees than a minute and the battery flashes empty and they turn off. I put them back in charge and the battery shows full. I turn them on again and the same thing happens.

Can anyone help with this issue?

I have the same issue after 2 and a half years of use. I can’t use mine cordless. I am really disappointed with how long they have lasted.

I have contacted Dyson support and I would need to pay for a repair the cost being £100!

Thank you for your replies.

I can't afford to pay Dyson £100 to fix them, so i'll just use them with the wire attached
