I purchased an air wrap in 2020 from an authorized retailer- It was a dud straight out of the box. It was returned within a week and refunded.
I decided to give this airwrap another chance in 2023 - so i purchase one again from an authorised retailer in November 2023. The brush attachment malfunctions within weeks purchasing but i think ok i dont know how to use this thing so lets just keep at it - fast forward to mid september 2024 - i decide you know what its not how it is meant to work. Just note, i have used this product a total of max 20 times in the previous 10 months. I take it to the store it was purchased at and then they send it to some repair centre for an inspection. Today is 5 November, apparently, it was returned to the incorrect store after a repair. So 5 weeks later, no product. I have never been able to speak to anyone at dyson or their repair contractor.
- I believe i should be refunded or the product replaced based on the 2 year warranty that it comes with.
- I believe that at least one person from dyson themselves should respond to my emails/comments on social media. None of this has happened.
Has dyson lost the plot of inclusiveness in a country (South Africa) where dyson products represent long long times spent saving for a aspirational product for the average person?
