Price match | Dyson Community

I have received my airwraps for couple days from Dyson then found it on sale at David Jones for nearly $100 off. What is the process for the price match or should I refund to Dyson and purchase a new one at DJs. Same colour, same model. Thanks

Hi @Tdang,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

You can find Terms and Conditions for Dyson Australia here. The section headed Best Price Policy outlines the details you’ll need.

Hope this helps!

You do not sound very helpful at all. Please be direct and answer the question instead of refer the customer to a few pages worth of terms and conditions. You work for Dyson Company and you should  now your stuff.

Hi @Tdang,

All of the details you’ve requested are in the Terms and Conditions I linked for you previously.

In case you haven’t reviewed this information, I’ll add it here - as it explains which retailers are included, and how you’ll need to submit your claim.

Best Price Policy

  1. Dyson is committed to offering customers the best prices on www.dyson.com.au, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Where a price is indicated as being price matched, Dyson has undertaken a review of the pricing of other retailers and matched their pricing, so there is no need to contact Dyson to make a claim under the Best Price Policy.
  3. However, if you happen to find a Dyson product that is advertised at a lower price than on www.dyson.com.au, Dyson will continue to match the price in accordance with the Terms and Conditions set out below.
  4. If you find a Dyson product that is available from Dyson at www.dyson.com.au (Website) advertised at a lower price by a National Retailer (as defined in section 5), Dyson will match that advertised price subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  5. National Retailers are the following Australian retailers: Harvey Norman, Bing Lee, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, David Jones and Myer. Dyson may, in its discretion, change the list of National Retailers by updating these terms and conditions and publishing them on the Website.
  6. Comparative product must be in stock and readily available for sale at a retail outlet or online from a National Retailer and be the identical model to a Dyson product available on the Website.
  7. Comparative product must be new and in original packaging. Reconditioned, refurbished, display, demonstrator or damaged products, as well as products available for purchase at a Dyson warehouse sale are excluded.
  8. Price match not available where National Retailer’s lower price is due to member-only offers, corporate reward programs or employee discounts.
  9. You must provide satisfactory proof of current advertised price of the comparative product by a National Retailer to Dyson (eg. flyer, catalogue, website URL or email). Proof must be verifiable by Dyson and price must be stated in Australian dollars. Verbal and written offers are excluded.
  10. Where National Retailer’s lower price is due to an error in advertising (theirs or Dyson’s), this is excluded.
  11. Dyson reserves the right to limit the quantity of a product available for purchase under the Best Price Policy by a customer, at its discretion.
  12. To claim under Dyson’s Best Price Policy, you must contact Dyson’s Customer Care team by phone at 1800 239 766
  13. Dyson reserves the right to verify the validity of all price matching claims and disqualify any claimant for tampering with the claim process or for submitting a claim which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  14. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Dyson excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotional offer, including any claim that is lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Dyson) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Dyson.

Hope this helps!
