Recently received our Dyson Robot Vacuum - very happy.
Unit came with 2 charging stations - what is the intention of the second charging station? Are you able to program the robot to use two charging stations on the same floor? I have installed the second unit in an accessible area however the robot does not seem to acknowledge its existence, choosing rather to return to its ‘main’ charging station.
Lost opportunity to allow it to change at will from two points around the house.

The second charging station is necessary if you want to use the robot on multiple floors. For each floor you need another charging station. For instance if you want to use the robot on your main floor and upstaris you will need two charging stations.

Not strictly true , just take the robot upstairs and start from the LED screen , it does its job and returns to where it started .
Yeah, thats true. You only need a 2nd charging station if you want to put restrictions on a map and/or clean just a few rooms instead of just everything upstairs.
