V8 Absolute Soft roller cleaner head model compatibility

Hello,

I am from austria and own a V8 absolute. Last week the soft roller cleaner head ( 966489-04) broke.

After a short call with the german/austrian  dyson customer care center, I recieved the information that the cleaner head is currently out of stock (at least in austria and germany).

 

My question is, if the other models of this soft roller cleaner head is compatible with my model, for example 966489-12  or 966489-08 or 966489- 11?

@tomgru. I quickly checked the ‘Dyson V8™ Staubsauger (mit sternförmigem Vormotorfilter) & Dyson V8™ Staubsauger (mit Vormotorfilter mit zusammendrückbarer Spitze/Akku des Typs E)’. Both show as compatible.

Have you checked the accessory store for compatible parts? The CM highlights it in their How to: Order spare parts and accessories post. 

I did it for you 😂! Dyson DE (https://www.dyson.de/ersatzteile/staubsauger/kabellose-staubsauger). V8 - Bodendüsen und Bürstwalzen - 466489-11 would be fine.

I saw it, but it says only the v8 absoluet with “star pre-filter” (I hope this is the right translation) and my v8 has a pre motor filter.

 

So this was the reason, if i can use any soft roller cleaner head (so also part number *-11 or similar).

I orderd 466489-11 and it worked 👍

Dyson Service was also very fast, took them 3 days for delivery!
