My light ball corded vacuum won’t work on my carpet (which is precisely what I bought this vacuum to do - vacuum carpet). The suction is too strong and I can’t push it forward.
What do I do?

I’m unfamiliar with this model. On others Dyson included a suction slider on the vacuuming head. Setting it to minimum should help.
if there isn’t a slider to reduce the suction, there isn’t anything you could do, apart from returning it for another model. The carpet manufacturer might have a minimum air watt recommendation.
