Corded Dyson Ball very difficult to push,

This is my third Dyson upright vacuum and I am extremely dissatisfied with it!! It is very hard to push on my carpet. It is a real workout and sometimes I have to pick it up to move it to the next strip. It actually hurts my arm muscles and my abs to vacuum with this. The suction is too strong, even at the highest adjusted level of the lever. Also, the wheels do not engage to stand up the vacuum. I have to kick the wheels to get them to engage in parking mode. I will have to buy another vacuum because I can’t use this one. I’ll try to return it.

DC24 Adjust Brush?

Our DC24 seems to be sucking up too much carpet pile. Is it possible to raise the brush in order not to wear out the carpet? Thanks in advance. DD

Where can I purchase a cylinder?

My beloved Dyson cylinder vacuum died on me - it had had a good life. I’m in Guernsey and wanted another Dyson, the only one I could find locally was an upright machine which I purchased. It is very good but so incredibly heavy and I find the attachments unwieldy. I would like a cylinder like the one I had before but looking on Dyson UK and other sites - there are none for sale - is this correct? Thank you.

telescopic hose to long

Hi I have recently purchased a multi floor upright Dyson and am struggling with having to pull out the whole telescopic hose before handle will unlock. Can this be overcome in anyway at all as find hose is just to long for some quick jobs like sofa etc after grandchildren have been. Only other way I can find is to pull fully out take apart and use flexible hose part which is a bit long winded for a 20 second job.

Dyson Big Ball 2 - hard floor tool attachment possible?

My vacuum comes with the Pneumatic musclehead floor tool which is impossible to push amongst the wood, ceramic tiles and even rugs. I have a dyson animal vacuum upstairs and it comes with a hard floor tool which is perfect. I try to connect this attachment to the big ball2 but the attachment/nozzle is not the right size. Does Dyson make such an attachment for the bigball2 or any tips? Thanks!

Dyson Animal 3 nirvana

Have a Dyson Animal 2 Vac, saw the updated 3 and they had me when I read about the special new method that would pick up both animal and human hair and I wouldn’t have to stop and cut it off the roller. I have long hair and I was intrigued so I grabbed one and brought it home. Fortunately I didn’t have the problems the reviewer above detailed. My experience was just the opposite. I’ve gotten so use to putting stuff together from China with their picture instructions I just looked at the picture and put it together and it worked perfect. So perfect, the next day I went back to the store and bought another one for the upstairs. I also have a cat and we have hair everywhere. I’m giving my Dyson 2 to my son as soon as I figure out how to separate the cylinder from the cyclone thing. I accidentally attached it incorrectly and it won’t go on the machine now. Unfortunately, that one’s on me, not the warranty. im sorry someone got a dud but I guess that happens sometimes. But wanted to share h

Dyson V10 Cyclone Absolute Filter Issue

Hi - I purchased a new filter on my V10 as the light kept coming on at every use even after cleaning. Also the machine was ‘pulsating’ then stopping working. I purchased a new filter from Dyson themselves. I have cleaned ALL other possible removable items but I am still having the same problem - filter light on and pulsating then stops workin

filter replacement

I purchased a Dyson Cyclone V10 animal in Nov 2021. After cleaning and drying the filter, the filter light keeps flashing. Does this mean we need to replace the filter? If so, where do we purchase it from? Is it normal for filters needing to be replaced after 2 years? Does my insurance or warranty cover this?

Light Ball UP16 - Hard to Push - HELP!

I have a UP16 (Light Ball) and the brush stops spinning after a few seconds of use on a loop pile carpet. Is this normal? I have to keep pressing the brush button for it to activate. I would have thought the brush on loop pile carpets would do a better job lifting up the dirt off the carpet? This Dyson only seems to work on hard floors with less friction than loop pile. Let me know if I'm using it incorrectly?

Tips for damp carpet smell, using DC49

I recently had my carpet professionally cleaned. Previous owner has dogs and it took several cleans, leaving there carpet wet. It has been slow to dry and now has a nasty smell of damp. I have a DC49 and ideally want to use that than but something else. Any tips? Thank you Justin

What holds this tube in on MultiFloor 2 (picture included)

The black tube attached to the hose on my MultiFloor 2 fits into the purple piece (yellow on my machine) shown in the drawing below. What holds these two pieces together when you want to use the hose for cleaning drapes or upholstery, etc. On mine, the tube just falls out of the purple piece (at the blue arrow) whenever I want to use it. It seems like I must be missing some sort of clip that holds the two pieces together. No amount of force will join them together so that they “click” into place.

Cleanerhead keeps separating from main machine - Help!

My small ball allergy has a cleaner head attached by a clip or something that locks into place. Increasingly the cleaner head is separating during vaccuming and having to be reattached 3 or 4 times. Cannot see any obvious parts missing or broken. Is this usual? Thanks

Pet Grooming Tool for the Ball Animal - How to use?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get your dog no afraid of the dog hair cleaning tool for the Animal Ball that has the spikes on it? It may just be the sound of the vacuum but she runs the other direction when we approach her with it.

Hello, Coming from the states with Dyson DC51 vacum and reading some options and how adapter will not work and ruin the maschine, I would be very thankful to receive some official suggestions and if there are any options to use it in our new home in Europe or not? Dyson Animal Ball - Poor suction with attachments - Any ideas?

Hi bi have a new corded ball animal Dyson. Suction is fantastic with all except the attachments particularly the crevice tool. It’s ok when used directly on the hose but when attached to the sand suction is really poor. No blockages and as I say works fine when not on the wand. Is this a known issue please?

I need to change my dc32 motor. but I can’t find a dc32 motor. Someone on internet says dyson motors interchangeable but I don’t know which models motor fit dc32, can I replace it with a newer models motor with better vacuum performance?

Dyson Cylinder - Is there an adapter to use different cleaner heads / brushes?

Hello together, first of all i hope you understand my problem/questtion :) Since i am not an native english speaker, I prbably dont use allways the exact terms. I own an old Dysen, DC08 which i really like. Unfortunately, the cleaner head in worn, so I cant use the origianl one anymore. But i got two other cleaner heads from a newer version (think it is DC29) and from an even older version (DCxx). Are there adapters, so I can use for example the cleaner head form DC29 with my cleaner DC08? Thanks in advance for every answer Thomas

DC40 Extension Hose WANTED

Dyson dc40 I’m looking for an accessory hose to put on the wand as a tool. I do not need a replacement hose. The wand is very unwieldy and I have to hoist it over my shoulder to use the cleaning tools. A hose that attaches to the tool end of the wand may solve that problem.
