Searching Before taking the plunge and posting a new topic, you may want to see if someone else on the Dyson Community has already asked the same thing, or started a discussion about the same topic. To do this, simply have a quick look for it by using the search option at the top of every page. By typing your question into the search, it reviews all of the existing content on the Dyson Community for key words and returns the 5 top results. Choosing the ‘View all’ option returns all the results. For example, by searching ‘My Filter needs’ you will be shown the top 5 results that contain the word ‘Filter’. Air treatment: 7-day schedulingAIR TREATMENT - DYSON APP - KEY FEATURE

Did you know you can use the App to set a schedule for your machine? Well you can and you can even set this over a 7 day period. 7-day scheduling allows you to set your purifier to times that suit you, while still in Auto mode. Whether you want to set it as you get home from work or just at the weekends, your purifier stays on when you need it, and off when you don't. To start using scheduling, your machine will need to be connected to the app. On the home screen press the settings icon in the top right, then select ‘Scheduling your machine’. Is there a best place for your Purifier?TIPS - AIR TREATMENT

Your Purifier, Purifier Heater and Purifier Humidifier are engineered to purify single rooms, and is most effectively in sealed environments. We recommend using it where you spend the majority of your time at home. When placing the machine, make sure there is at least a few feet of clearance on all sides so that the air can circulate effectively. How to: Get the most out of your postsTIPS

To increase engagement and get the most out of your posts, try following these simple steps: Know your audience – avoid using abbreviations or jargon in the ‘Title’ and ‘Description’. Not everyone may know what you mean by a certain phrase. If you do use either, write the complete/non-jargon word the first time, with the abbreviation/jargon in a bracket next to it. You can then continue using the abbreviation or jargon throughout your post and everyone will understand. Be clear – when writing your ‘Title’ and ‘Description’ make sure you’re not going off topic. If you seem to be heading in more than one direction, maybe split the content into multiple posts. Make sure you choose the right ‘Sub forum’ to post in – picking your audience is key if you’ve posting about a specific topic, posing a wider question or starting a new conversation. If it’s in the wrong place it may not get the engagement you’re hoping for. Moderators can move a post if it needs to go into a different forum, so don
