v10 Main body compatibility

I have a v10 Total Clean purchased from Costco (serial number YJ7-US-KCA2268A). It has been showing a steady red light when I try to operate it. The troubleshooting guide says I need a new main body and cyclone (part number 969596-05) which is out of stock. I see part 969596-06 which is compatible with other v10 models is available. I want to confirm if this is compatible with my vacuum as the only difference I see if the color. I would rather buy this than a brand new vacuum.

Defective Cordless Vaccumm DO NOT BUY

People,My wife had been wanting a Dyson Vacuum over some years and finally my stepson was able to purchase this for her for Christmas 2.5 years ago. The Vacuum had been given us issues and we followed the troubleshooting procedure as reps advised. The problem remained. Then, they emailed saying that the body needed to be replaced but it is out of warranty and now is my responsibility to purchase it. What in the world is this?????????????? The most expensive unit DYSON in the industry and within 2 years becomes defective, and now it is up the consumer to repay to fix it??? DYSON IS THE WORST COMPANY WITH PRODUCTS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!! corrale straightener is terrible

I am absolutely disgusted with the quality of Dyson straighteners. I have only had mine 2.5 years and the battery has been slowly dying and now holds a charge for a whopping minute! I had a ‘chat’ with Dyson last week who told me my only option is to take it to a service center - the nearest of which is at least an hour from my house. They were also unable to tell me how long a battery replacement for a coral straightener would take or how much it would cost - this should be fairly well known at this point with the number of people that have this issue although it seems that not even Dyson can get it right as half the people say the battery can be replaced and half say that it can’t be. Which is it??? Having already spent a considerable amount of money to buy it in the first place, I am not prepared to waste any more money on this product. Buyer Beware

My Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute failed in under a year. I returned the item and have been waiting for a replacement for about 4 weeks from start to finish. I have continually received conflicting information, received no emails unless specifically requested, and I have never been able to speak with a member of the supervisory team despite multiple requests to do so. I have received many assurances I would receive an email or tracking number. Last week I was expecting this and never received anything and today, one week later, that has still not been the case. I find it to be ridiculous that following up on this has become a part time job with still no official email from Dyson (just a couple from agents). Not only has this product not lived up to my expectations in terms of durability, but the support and communication has been abysmal. I am a 57 year old woman who has always bought and enjoyed the superior dyson hair care products. I bought my first dyson product in November of 2021, the Special edition Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer (Prussian blue/rich copper). I was so impressed i bought all 3 of my daughters the same product at a cost of well over £1200 for all 4 products. I then went on to purchase the dyson airwrap long, the dyson corrale straightener and just recently the Dyson Airstrait™ straightener.I have waist length straight hair which I wash and dry just once a week and using the dyson hairdryer means I can dry my hair with no damage in just 10 minutes. Last month I went to use th hairdryer ut tp my surprise nothing happened the machine was dead. My husband changed the fuse but it still would not work.I contacted Dyson and because my 2 year warranty had expired my machine was not covered. Dented filter on a brand new Dyson gen5detect

Hi I purchased a brand new Dyson 05.08.2024, Ihve been using it for about two months. I’ve cleared the dust bit no more than 5-6 timess, but this time I noticed several dents inside it.. I am not sure if it’s from the factory, but I haven’t touched it in any way..I have repeatedly tried to contact Dyson over the phone on another case prior to this, but I usually wait one of two hours on the phone and nothing happens. It’s increasingly hard to get a hold on Dyson. I am gonna try to contact them again tomorrow about this, and hope I get in touch with them more easily now..But what do I do about this problem? Is this something I can easily fix myself?

Dysin G1 debris tray falls out of the machine

I just bought the G1 Wash and the debris tray keeps falling out of the machine. What is the solution for this? It doesn’t seem to be properly attached to anything. The red filter tray fits well but the debris tray doesn’t. What are the exact instructions to make it stay?

Where is my refund?

On 5 September 2024 I contacted Dyson regarding an item which I had recently bought but now wished to return. The item was eventually, after a number of false starts, collected via DPD collect on 18 September 2024. DPD tracking shows the item was received by Dyson on 19 September 2024. After numerous phone calls to their so called Customer Service, which resulted each time in new case references and promises that I would get a reply within 72 hours, I am still waiting for anyone to contact me to explain why I have not yet received my refund of nearly £600. Why is Dyson incapable to react to customer complaints likely any other global company? Please provide an email!!!

Unfortunately this comment is not a positive one for Dyson. After previously purchasing the Dyson vinca rose airwrap in December 2022 I decided to buy the matching Corrale straightener March 2023. Up until August of 2024 I had no real issue with the corrale other than general slight dissatisfaction of the heating element, then this summer the Corrale stopped charging/ powering completely. Due to working away, I recently spoke to Dyson about resolving the issue. Initially they were helpful and with some trial and error and troubleshooting I was satisfied with being told I would receive an exchange. I awaited the email confirming the exchange ,which I received, but never received a confirmed delivery date and ID. I spoke to the chat box once more and was told to package the Dyson in all its original packaging for the exchange. It was the DPD delivery service text informing me they would be there within the hour (a few days after) that was the first indication of any exchange date/time. T

What's the date on the box after the letters JN?

Hello I would like to know what the date on the box after JN means? Is it the production date of the device itself?HS05 BNBC MY/SG/HKPN.412954-02-02-02 JN.115281 24.09.2021If this is the case, did I buy a device that has been in the box for 3 years? dyson airwrap red blinking

I am writing to seek assistance with my Dyson Airwrap, which has recently stopped working. The device’s light is blinking red, and despite cleaning the filter thoroughly as instructed in the manual, the problem persists. I have also allowed the device to cool down and restarted it, but unfortunately, it still does not work.I am based in Sheffield and would appreciate your advice on the next steps for resolving this issue.
