Refurbished Dyson Styler. Why have I not been offered an exchange?

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the Dyson Styler I recently purchased, which has been consistently malfunctioning and poses a significant inconvenience during use. I am particularly disappointed with the fact that Dyson has deemed this product as a final sale item, preventing me from exchanging it for a fully functional replacement.On May 25, 2023, I bought a refurbished Dyson Styler on dyson.com. At first, I was excited about the opportunity to own a high-quality product at a reduced price. However, my enthusiasm quickly faded as I began to encounter numerous issues with the styler.The primary problem I have encountered is the device randomly turning off in the middle of using it. This disruption not only interrupts my styling routine but also wastes my time and leaves my hair in an unsatisfactory state. trigger switch

I’ve had my V11 absolute over 3 years and so it’s no longer under guarantee, the switch has decided to give up. I have done my searches and found this is a very common problem and Dyson wants to charge me £55 for a new switch which I think is disgraceful as it’s no fault of mine but their merchandise.

Has anyone else ever ordered a main body and cyclone for a V10 (part 969596-06)?

I just rang Dyson customer support and asked about buying a spare part replacement main body and cylone for £60. You can see them online at https://www.dyson.co.uk/support/journey/spare-details.969596-06.226364-01It shows purple tubes, cost is £60 and delivery is free on orders over £35. Warranty for 1 year.When i rang them they said they had one but it was grey tubes would cost £75 as the purple ones were out of stock. I said I only wanted to pay a max’ of £60. I said I would wait and he said OK but then, said I could maybe find one from a 3rd party!Call centre numpty or just over helpful?

Dyson V15 SV22 Charging Problem - Help

Hi all, I have had a look around at other charging issue threads but mine seems a bit different. My V15 is 6 months old and has been working perfectly until now. Since I last used it and put it on charge I noticed that it was at only 25%. I used it today and ran it down to 10% and put it on charge for a few hours. the blue lights on the battery were flashing and the display on the Dyson showed 10% and charging. A few hours later, still the same charge levels. I have used a multimeter to check the output of the power adaptor and its only putting out 10v. Looking at the adaptor specs it should be putting out 30v. Can anyone confirm this please. Gen5 Detect Tool Compatibility List

Hey Fellow Dyson users!I recently bought myself a Dyson Gen5Detect and wanted to know what tools are compatible or not.Living in France means the french version seems a little bit out of date and doesn’t list any tool as compatible with the new (for us) Gen5.It’s my understanding from the google-fu that most of the v15 stuff will/should work.I’ve also noticed the uk site/usa site does list certain tools as compatibleThe tools in question would beScratch-free dusting brush Extension hose and the pet kitThanks in advance.

Dyson upright vacuum - Animal3 - Poor suction

I am truly disappointed in the Animal 3. I had the original many years ago and absolutely LOVED it. What is the point if it consistently clogs up with dog hair? We are frequently taking it apart to unclog it. With in 10/15 mins of vacuuming I stopped it to move furniture and it wouldn’t turn back on! apparently it is getting too hot to use after a certain amount of time! For the amount of money we spent on this, its no better then a $150 vacuum we bought before this one. I just don’t understand. (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Title Updated)
