Dyson V12 and Motorbar not able to clean carpets?

I purchased some time ago Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute. How I was surprised when I saw that the large Motorbar cleaner head cannot clean even the thinnest carpet. I’ve reported that to Dyson support. After some time they agreed to replace the device to a brand new one. Unfortunately when I got it, the same issue occurs. So the question is: is it just me who is so unlucky or Dyson cordless vacuum cleaners (or at least this model) are not able to clean carpets at all? Terrible product and TERRIBLE customer service

Our very expensive dyson vacuum stopped charging about 2 months ago and have been dealing with customer support for 2 months with no progress! they keep saying how sorry they are and how they understand how I feel but nothing gets done! I have had to call them 4 times and email them multiple times (they never respond to my email!). I have been told by different people over the last 2 months that I am getting a refurbished machine, then they said I was getting a new machine and now they are saying a I am getting a refurbished machine again BUT STILL NO MACHINE! they said they had the wrong address but never reached out to get my address and when I checked I sent them my correct address 6 weeks ago and they never bothered to contact me to tell me they had the wrong address (which they didnt). I think they are just giving me the run around. Now they are saying I am getting a refurbished machine but it will take 5 business days for them to send me a box to put my vacuum in to send back and

Pulsing v8 despite cleaning everything

Hi all, first time poster so please be gentle with me. I have a V8 that keeps pulsing, as i said in the title, I have cleaned out all the filters and have narrowed the problem down to the large head. If I pick the V8 off the floor it stops pulsing, I have taken the roller out but that looks clean but it feels a bit ‘grainy’ if i rotate it by hand, should it feel like that. I am loathe to spend 80 pounds for a new one so wondered if there is anything I can disassemble to get my V8 back to full functionality?

I have a Dyson DC19 vacuum cleaner (serial no. DF1-UK-DBA2541A) which has a broken connector that clips onto the brush floor tool – see attached photo. Disappointingly I was not able to source a replacement part from a variety of retailers. How do I purchase directly from Dyson a new connector for my Dyson DC19 vacuum cleaner?

Vacuum V15 keeps turning off several times

Hi,I have my V15 for less than a year. In the past weeks it started to switch off every time I use it.After few seconds it turns off, it does this 3 or 4 times and then it works just fine.I clean the filter regulartly, it looks very clean. I also fully cleaned the dust bin. Nothing really helps.I don’t think its a problem with the filter and not the battery either since its quite new.There are no error messages on the display. What to do next. I don’t really want to buy a new battery or filter to find out that it doesn’t fix the problem.

Dyson V7 Animal brush head not working

The bar spins but stops as soon as it is placed on the floor. i have followed all the steps in the troubleshooting guide but nothing obvious. Customer services tell me it needs a new motorhead. I’m reluctant to pay £80 for the spare as I’m not sure this would solve the problem. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Getting started with your Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet™ FormaldehydeTIPS - AIR TREATMENT

How do I assemble my Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet™ Formaldehyde? Use both hands to lift your machine out of the box, by its base. Your machine comes with a HEPA filter, carbon filter and permanent catalytic filter. These are already installed in your machine. Lift the conic amplifier out of the box and place it on the top of your machine. Rotate the conic amplifier until it clicks securely into place. Plug in and press the power button on the screen or remote control. Place the remote control on the front of your machine with the buttons facing down. Where should I position my machine? Your Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet™ Formaldehyde is fitted with wheels to make it easier to move.Position your machine on a level floor. For the most effective purification, position your machine on the edge of the room at least three and a half feet from the wall, with the conic amplifier pointing to the furthest point, along the wall. You can also position your machine facing diagonally across the room. Learn
