PLS. Why are there SIX V15 models to compare between? It's absurd.

There isn't even an easy way to compare them. I have to open up each by pressing ‘see details’ to understand the differences. Then, I have to either use photographic memory or write EXTRA NOTES to remember how they are different. V15 AbsoluteV15 Absolute +Detect +Detect Detect PlusDetect Extra Oh, and they all share the same reviews!

V15 Detect Absolute + (Gold) vs V15 Detect Extra - Purchasing Advice

Hi There, I am looking to purchase my first cordless Dyson vacuum and I do not know which from the V15 Detect Absolute + (Gold) or the V15 Detect Extra I should purchase. I want to make the right choice considering the expensive cost of these vacuums. I just want to get the best machine. Both look very similar in terms of technology, features and price and so I am wondering if I am missing a key feature when comparing the V15 Detect Absolute + (Gold) with the V15 Detect Extra? They are both Dyson website exclusives to Dyson direct; both have the upgraded HEPA filter to 0.1 micron, the built in tool, same motor, same bin size, same suction, same cleaner heads and relatively same price; just the accessories seem different as the V15 Detect Absolute + (Gold) seems to have 10 accessories and the V15 Detect Extra has 8 albeit different accessories? The colours do not matter to me because I am looking for best machine in terms of performance. Thanks in advance for your professional advice. V

Dyson v11 Outsize floorhead

I got an outisze a long time back but now it seems as if there discontinued after speaking to Dyson customer service. I'm looking for the XL floorhead, I've looked everywhere I've pressed notify me back in September shall I close that door or shall i wait I'm using the standard head and it's fine but it takes a long time to clean my house. Is it completely gone as customer service said or I've seen a thread saying it hasn't been but they've been off dysons website since September. I've also checked all the after retailers like partscentre espares and many more. Please advise

Need a replacement part: 917260-01

Hi,I saw that this part is out of stock, so I called Dyson and the service representative said that part 967365-01 is compatible. He then told me that there might be back stock available. I was told that I had to register my machine in order to be notified when the part is in stock and he proceeded to register my machine over the phone. He assured me that after talking with a supervisor, he would email me a summary of our conversation. I tried to log into MyDyson, but I found that I was not registered. I registered my vacuum. I did not receive an email from Dyson, but the service rep gave me an email address “questions@dyson.com” I emailed my query about the parts, but I have received no response. I found part 967365-01 at an overseas seller and inquired about its compatibility with CY18. He responded that it is not compatible. I am confused and a bit frustrated because I don’t know if the parts are compatible I can’t use my machine without part 917260-01. Where might I find help for t

Recommended storage and organizer for Outsize. Dok? Other?

I just received the Dyson Outsize. I like free standing rather than being attached to the wall. But besides that, the Outsize came with 6 attachments and the furniture cleaning kit which is 3 more attachments. How do I keep all this organized? I found the Dyson Dok here: https://www.dyson.com/support/journey/tools/970778-01.But it looks like it has a place for only one attachment. What about the other 8 attachments? I found this expansion bracket on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096NWGW2R/?coliid=I1CGGXM7JDYSU8&colid=2YLS7QHLY3WN5&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it.But it looks like I can only store organized another four. What about the remaining 5? V7 motorhead

HI all , my first post with a problem , and guess what its the battery , it seems to me far to many Dyson hoover problems are battery related , James Dyson needs to get back in R and D and sort them out . Rant over , my problem is use the V7 on Max no problem but take your finger off the trigger and it won’t restart , so back to charging dock in and out again it runs fine until you take your finger off again it stops again so back to the dock again and repeat , it will run for 6 mins if you keep your finger on the trigger , this says to me this is a software issue , any ideas anyone ?

Dyson DC35 Battery Life

Hi All, Dyson DC35 Multifloor Battery lasting no longer than 30 seconds before flashing light and cutting outBought new battery charged till light went out on charger before use but after initial use same problemCheck battery with multi meter showing 20.8 volts Plug into charger again 20 minutes later light goes out on charger battery shows 21.9 volts and lasts just about 30 seconds again. I understand that once the light on the charger goes out the battery should be fully charged but to charge a battery is normally a minimum of 4 hours So do I have a battery problem or charger problem I know its not a blockage I have run the machine completely stripped downI would be most grateful for any help or advice Thank you Peterisn't tech wonderful when it works (Moderation Edit - Category Updated)

Since the community became inclusive of all Dyson technology, of late, I’ve responded to discussions surrounding the Cordless vacuums and their battery life expectancy. Specifically, on the belief these should last for a substantial time past their warranty expiration.Having a working knowledge of battery development, I wanted to share my own opinion on this subject.Battery failure is sadly unpredictable. It exclusively can’t be tracked to a singular cause, and it is important to note that this doesn’t just affect vacuum batteries but any rechargeable battery in modern society. The battery in power tools, remote control cars through to that of the rechargeable AA/AAA batteries in use around the home, all fall foul of degradation over time.A combination of sources can influence the capacity, discharge, and operation of these batteries. V8 red light specifically flashes 4 times

What is the problem if the red light flashes 4 times only, not 12. I’ve looked it up & only one place I’ve found specifically states it will be a problem with the motor, not the battery. (As it would flash 12 times if it’s the battery) Every where else, including Dyson customer services just say, ‘if a red light flashes, it’ll be the battery.’It’s been working fine for 4 years. I’ve had no reduced power over recent use. Yesterday went to use it & no power, the power light just flashes red 4 times when triger pulled or put back on docking station.Any help would be much appretiatedChris

Dyson V11 out of warranty repair nightmare

So I have tried to get our ~3 year old V11 repaired. I understand that it’s not covered by warranty anymore. After the initial contact I was give a repair refrence number and was told box would be sent in which I can send my defective unit for repair. Two weeks passed. No box. I have tried to reach customer service now at least 5 times over the last week with pretty disappointing results. I either get a standard bulk email reply after which nothing happens or over chat I’m promised that the box will be sent expedited. No box. No tracking number or confirmation.Last attempt provided an answer back noting that my issue has apparently been solved so no further action was necessary. This was an answer to email where I have been trying someone to actually read my first email where I’m asking what’s the status of my repair order.Needless to say this has been the worst customer service experience I’ve had with any electronics so far. I am saddened to see once great brand gone this bad. I cann
